Curious | Passionate | Committed
Hi, I’m Luke Steinle, a Chicago-based graphic designer with 4 years of experience and a BFA in Visual Communication, paired with a minor in Journalism. I specialize in layout and brand identity design, with a growing interest in work that supports education and storytelling.
My design journey began with a fascination for the way visual language can shape meaning. Design principles have always come naturally to me, but what keeps me inspired is the chance to learn something new from every client. Whether I’m working with a financial advisor or an educator, I see design as a communicative process. Listening, interpreting and crafting a central idea makes it possible to create something that does justice to the story behind the work.
Previously, I have worked in creative services in the finance industry, producing branded content and marketing materials for financial advisors. From print design to brand identity, I honed my three keys to great design: sharp messaging, inspired process, and excellent craft.
Most recently, I spent a year teaching English to secondary school students in Córdoba, Spain, through the NALCAP program. I used my design expertise to create engaging visuals and activities to accompany daily lessons. The experience not only deepened my cultural knowledge and respect for education, but also provided me with new opportunities to create, communicate, and adapt.
I believe great design is not only about high-quality artwork, but high-quality service. I aim to bring both to every collaboration with professionalism, empathy, and trust in the creative process.
